Ivy's 12th Month

12 Months

So hard to believe that my precious Ivy is already a year old! She has brought so much joy, love, and beauty to our life! Ivy has the sweetest little personality and makes us laugh constantly! This has been the most wonderful year and I know life will just keep getting better with little miss Ivy Wren.

Some milestones from the past month:
-Got her two top teeth
-Took her first two steps all by herself
-Said Mama for the first time

Ivy weighs 17 lbs 3 oz and is 29.5". That's 10th percentile is weight and 75th in height.
Loves:
Books! She loves to turn the pages
Music (of any kind)
Dancing
Opening presents
Feeding her baby doll a bottle
"Loving the baby" (hugging her dolls)
Walking around with help from her push toys or holding on to furniture
Christmas trees (she loves to ooh and aww when she sees a pretty tree)
Waving at everyone!

Christmas Decor 2014

This is our first Christmas in our house and I was super excited to decorate it! Since Ivy is into everything I kept it pretty simple this year and of course very neutral. I love a good mix of rustic and glam so I used lots of gold and pinecones.

I decided to make our stockings with fabric I already had in three different styles. For baby, mommy, and daddy!

This is the tree we bought for $20 at walmart right after we got married 5 years ago. Its super tiny but it does fit perfectly in this little corner. Next year I think its time to upgrade to a larger tree!

For Ivy's room I used a tiny white tree that I always had in my room growing up and decorated it with tissue honeycomb balls. I used a lot of decorations that will be used for her 1st birthday party to create a colorful Christmas look.
I also made a stocking out of leftover fabric from her nursery.
