26 Weeks

We have exciting news to share this week! We signed a contract on a new house! It should be finished and ready to move in by February!

Ivy is the size of a head of lettuce!

Ombre Letter Blocks

I've been busy with a few nursery DIYs so I thought I would share the progress!

I ordered letter blocks from an Etsy shop for only $6! The colors didn't exactly match my color scheme so I decided to paint them different shades of pink.
Love how they turned out!

How cute do these look displayed in an apothecary jar!

I also painted this simple "darling" painting on a leftover piece of wood.
I can't wait to meet our little darling!

25 Weeks

Last weekend Jake and I went on a mini babymoon to Chattanooga! It was fun to get away for the weekend!

Ivy is the size of a rutabaga!

Here are some pictures from our weekend babymoon trip to Chattanooga:

We stayed in a train car room at the Chattanooga Choo Choo! So fun!

After dinner at Fork and Pie Bar we had the best mini pies for dessert!

Evening walk on the Walnut St. Bridge

I have been craving banana bread like crazy so I was so excited when we went to the Chattanooga Farmers Market and I was able to get banana nut, pumpkin, and zucchini bread!

Nursery Selections

I have been having so much fun designing Ivy's nursery!

These are some of the selections I have made so far!
1. Drapery fabric
2. Crib skirt fabric
3. Throw pillow fabric
6. Bird mobile (I plan on DIYing this)
7. Crib (I love the gray-brown stain!)
8. Floral prints (these are actually notecards that I will have framed)
9. Farmers market basket (to hold pacifiers)
11. Glider (My parents recently bought this for us and it is unbelievably comfortable! So excited!)

I have already started buying some things and I love seeing it start coming together! Now I just need to find a vintage dresser to use as a changing table.
